Infant Room

Our Infant Room surrounds your baby with gentle care and discovery. Soft lullabies, textured toys, and family photos create a cozy, familiar space where little ones can safely explore sight, sound, and touch. Teachers follow the routine you use at home—naps, feedings, and snuggles happen on your baby’s schedule—so each child feels secure and parents enjoy true peace of mind.

Toddler Room

Toddlers learn best when they’re moving, making noise, and testing new skills. In this lively room, children dance, sing, and act out mini‑plays that spark language and motor growth. Learning centers invite curious hands to stack, sort, and splash, while teachers cheer on milestones like self‑feeding and potty training—helping every child gain confidence and independence.

Outdoor Classrooms

Fresh air fuels healthy bodies and bright ideas. Our Nature Explore‑certified outdoor classrooms invite every age group to climb, dig, observe wildlife, and experiment with natural materials. By blending play with discovery, children deepen their respect for the earth while enjoying daily doses of sunshine and movement.

Proven Preschool Programming That Grows With Your Child

At our Meadowlands and Washington centers, SmartKids Learning Center pairs caring, certified teachers with bright indoor classrooms and Nature Explore‑certified outdoor spaces. Each day blends age‑appropriate lessons with plenty of hands‑on discovery, so children paint, dig, build, and explore while strengthening confidence and friendships. By keeping class sizes small and greeting every family by name, we create a warm community where parents feel informed, children feel valued, and joyful learning flourishes from morning drop‑off to afternoon pick‑up.

Our proven preschool programming follows the Creative Curriculum® Series, which places curiosity, critical thinking, and playful investigation at the heart of every subject. Child‑initiated exploration meets teacher‑guided instruction, ensuring youngsters freely choose engaging centers—art, science, pretend play—while mastering Pennsylvania Keys Early Learning Standards. To keep bodies as active as minds, daily movement comes from the SPARK™ physical‑education program, helping kids grow healthy, coordinated, and ready for lifelong fitness.

Progress is carefully documented and shared through work samples, photos, and teacher observations that build a personal portfolio for every child. Infants and toddlers are monitored with the Ounce Scale, and parents complete Ages & Stages® questionnaires so we can confirm milestones together and tailor next steps. By pairing research‑backed assessments with open family communication, SmartKids delivers clear insight into each stage of development—giving parents peace of mind and children the solid foundation they need for kindergarten and beyond.
